Dr. Ir. M. Sabri, M.T., IPM dilahirkan di Banda Aceh pada tanggal 23 Juni 1963 dan merupakan seorang dosen Mesin di Universitas Sumatera Utara. Beliau menyelesaikan pendidikan terakhirnya, yakni S3 Mekanik dan Bahan, di UKM pada tahun 2012.
