Description

The Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Sumatera Utara announces the learning methods for the Even Semester 2021-2022, including Online, Hybrid, and Offline. Students must comply with the established guidelines to ensure a smooth learning process.

In relation to the commencement of learning activities for the Even Semester of the 2021-2022 Academic Year at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara, the following regulations are hereby conveyed:

  1. Lectures will be conducted in Online, Hybrid, and Offline modes.

  2. Courses conducted Offline include:
    a. Practicum
    b. Exams (Midterm and Final Exams)
    c. Elective courses with a maximum of 20 students per class

  3. Courses conducted in Hybrid mode include those not mentioned above, as well as Compulsory Curriculum Courses (MKWK) with a credit weight of 2 SKS. In this regard, each study program is requested to submit a list of 7 (seven) courses that will be conducted in Hybrid mode.

  4. Students attending Offline classes must meet the following requirements:
    a. Have received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
    b. Obtain parental consent, as evidenced by a permission letter for Offline lectures (attached format).

  5. All courses must utilize USU e-Learning for attendance records and access to lecture topics/materials. The calculation of lecturer workload (BKD) and the number of classes will be automatically processed via e-Learning.
