Actualizing Service Based on Tri Darma

Community service is one of the pillars of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, alongside the dharma of education and teaching, and the dharma of research. USU’s statute, as outlined in Government Regulation No. 16 of 2014, states that USU has a vision to be a pioneer among national universities, recognized globally for its excellence and innovation, dedicated to the interests of the nation and humanity, guided by the nation's cultural values rooted in Pancasila. USU's vision is implemented through the Tri Dharma of Higher Education: education, research, and community service. USU’s mission is not only to provide education to students but also to conduct research, foster innovation, and promote the preservation and development of science that is both excellent and beneficial to society.
