Undergraduate Mechanical Engineering students taking the thesis course must follow guidelines on supervision, completion duration, relevant subjects, and plagiarism checks. Ensure your thesis meets academic requirements for a smooth graduation process.

Students taking the thesis course must adhere to the following academic regulations to ensure a smooth process:

Thesis supervision quotas are allocated for equal distribution. Lecturers with research projects may request additional quotas.
The thesis completion period follows official regulations, with a maximum duration of six months. An extension of up to three months may be granted upon evaluation by the thesis supervisor and the study program.
The recommended subjects for thesis research are applied engineering or elective courses.
To prevent plagiarism, all theses must undergo similarity checks using plagiarism detection software, with a maximum similarity threshold of 25 percent. The plagiarism check result is a requirement for the thesis defense.
