The Architect Professional Study Program at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) is an advanced level education program that specializes architecture students in understanding, planning, and implementing architectural projects with high professional standards, ethics, and skills in accordance with industry demands. The program aims to prepare Undergraduate Program in Architecture graduates to become licensed architects who are competent and understand aspects of sustainability and conservation of natural resources in building and environmental design.

The USU Architect Professional Study Program has a vision to become the best academic community in 2030 in the field of implementation. This professional education aligns with the Rector’s vision and program, which will make the Universitas Sumatera Utara an international university. For this reason, international facilities and infrastructure are also needed. In this case, the Architect Professional Study Program will prepare an international standard Architect Professional Education Studio to also prepare for international accreditation; in realizing this international standard studio, the Architect Professional Study Program through the Rector of USU, the Dean of the USU Faculty of Engineering, and partners in the field of building technology.
