The Undergraduate Program in Chemical Engineering at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) collaborated with PT Semen Andalas to organize a seminar titled “Implementation of Green Processing in the Cement Industry in the Era of Industry 4.0.”

Held on September 4, 2019, at the Faculty of Engineering Auditorium, USU, the event was attended by students, faculty members, and industry professionals. The seminar aimed to introduce the concepts and practices of green processing in the cement industry, particularly in addressing the challenges and opportunities presented by the Industry 4.0 era.

Through this event, USU Chemical Engineering students gained up-to-date insights on the application of sustainable technologies, energy efficiency, and emission reduction in cement production, as well as the importance of innovation in advancing an environmentally friendly industry.
