Faculty of Engineering

Architectural History, Theory, and Criticism Laboratory is one of the laboratories located
in the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara that accommodates the scientific development needs of the lecturers of Pre-Modern Architectural History and Theory, Modern Architectural History and Theory, Architectural Theory and Criticism, Transformation of North Sumatra Traditional Architecture, and Thematic Architecture.

In addition, this laboratory focuses on documenting and researching the history of North Sumatra architecture in the need to enrich the teaching material of local wisdom as a scientific flagship at the USU Department of Architecture. The laboratory facilitates discussion activities, internal collaboration of lecturers and students in the teaching and learning process as well as research, education, and community service activities related to the scientific development of Architectural History, Theory, and Criticism.
