Faculty of Engineering

The Control System and Computer Laboratory is one of the educational and research laboratories under the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara. This laboratory supports practical learning in control systems and digital technology courses, aiming to equip students with hands-on skills in automation systems and microprocessor-based programming.

This lab serves as the main facility for practical sessions in three core subjects:

• Control System

• Digital System

• Embedded System

Each practical session focuses on applying theoretical concepts through simulations and direct hardware implementation. Students will learn the fundamentals of dynamic system control, microcontroller programming, digital logic, and embedded system applications using a variety of supporting hardware and software tools.

The laboratory plays a key role in helping students develop analytical, design, and implementation skills in modern computer-based and control systems, which are widely applied in today's industrial environment.
