Description

The Land Survey Laboratory of the Civil Engineering Program at Universitas Sumatera Utara is an essential educational facility that supports student practicum activities, particularly for the Land Surveying course offered in the second (even) semester. This laboratory plays a crucial role in developing students' fundamental competencies in surveying and mapping—core skills in civil engineering and infrastructure planning. Practicum activities are designed to help students accurately and systematically represent the geometric features of the Earth’s surface, including both natural and man-made elements, onto a flat plane. The laboratory supports hands-on, competency-based learning aligned with the academic objectives of technical education.
