The Undergraduate Program in Chemical Engineering at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) has established a collaboration with PT Borneo Alumina Indonesia, a company engaged in the bauxite processing and refining sector, to strengthen the integration between academia and industry.

As part of this collaboration, Darwin Saleh, S.T., M.M., a representative from PT Borneo Alumina Indonesia, serves as a Thesis Co-Supervisor for USU Chemical Engineering students. This partnership aims to provide practical and relevant industrial perspectives during the thesis development process.

The collaboration reflects a concrete synergy between higher education institutions and the industrial sector in shaping graduates who are not only academically excellent but also well-prepared to face technical and managerial challenges in the professional world.
