The Undergraduate Program in Chemical Engineering at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) has established a strategic collaboration with PT. Ivo Mas Tunggal Dumai, one of the leading companies in the palm oil industry, to implement the Industrial Internship and Industrial Practice Lecture programs for its students.

This initiative is part of the 2024 Kampus Merdeka Competition Program (PKKM), aimed at enhancing graduate competencies through hands-on, industry-based learning experiences. Students of USU’s Chemical Engineering program participating in this program have the opportunity to engage directly in production, processing, and management activities within a real-world work environment, while also expanding their professional networks.
