The Undergraduate Program in Chemical Engineering at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) has established a collaboration with PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Medan to improve laboratory quality and safety through training activities and technical support.

As part of this collaboration, a Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental (K3L) Training was conducted for all laboratory heads and assistants within the Chemical Engineering department at USU. The training featured a K3 expert from PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Medan as the speaker, aiming to raise awareness and ensure the implementation of K3L standards in the laboratory environment.

Additionally, through collaboration with the Fuel Laboratory of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Medan, the program also carried out the calibration of laboratory equipment as part of efforts to improve the accuracy and validity of student practicum and research results.
