The Undergraduate Program in Chemical Engineering at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) has established a collaboration with PT Toba Pulp Lestari, a company operating in the sustainable forestry-based pulp industry, to implement the Industrial Practice Lecture program.

Through this partnership, USU Chemical Engineering students gain the opportunity to observe and understand pulp production processes directly in the field. This activity is designed to strengthen the connection between classroom theory and real industrial practice, while also enhancing students’ readiness to enter the workforce.

This collaboration reflects the shared commitment of USU and PT Toba Pulp Lestari to develop highly qualified, professional, and competitive human resources in the natural resource-based industry.
