The Undergraduate Program in Chemical Engineering at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) collaborated with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia, to organize an International Guest Lecture held on October 14 and 15, 2024.

The event featured Prof. Md Abul Kalam from the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, UTS, as the keynote speaker. In the guest lecture, Prof. Md Abul Kalam delivered material on fluid mechanics, focusing on the application of both fundamental and advanced concepts in engineering and environmental systems.

This guest lecture aimed to deepen students’ understanding of fluid dynamics within the context of chemical engineering while broadening their international outlook through direct academic interaction with a global expert in the field.

The activity is part of USU Chemical Engineering Program’s commitment to strengthening curriculum internationalization and expanding academic collaboration networks across borders.
