Ahmad Zikri, S.T., M.T., is a junior lecturer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU). Born in Bangkinang on March 14, 1996, he earned his Bachelor of Engineering (S.T.) degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) in 2018. Ahmad Zikri then continued his education and obtained his Master of Engineering (M.T.) degree at the University of Indonesia (UI) in 2021. Currently, he is pursuing his doctoral studies (Ph.D.) at Bursa Uludağ University, Türkiye, focusing on heat and mass transfer, thermodynamics, and renewable energy.
As a young researcher, his research interests include topics such as desalination, drying technology, heat and mass transfer, thermodynamics, energy efficiency, energy conversion and management, thermal engineering, and energy system optimization. Ahmad Zikri has published more than 20 scientific papers in reputable international journals and various international conferences. One of his featured research focuses on developing desalination system technology for power plant optimization.
With a strong academic background and innovative works in the energy field, Ahmad Zikri plays an active role in advancing renewable energy technology and thermal systems.
