Prof. Dr. Eng. Ir. Irvan, M.Si. was born in Tebing Tinggi on August 20, 1968, and is a lecturer in Chemistry at Universitas Sumatera Utara. He completed a Doctoral Program in Environment and Life Eng. at Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan, in 1996.
