Salmina Wati Ginting graduated with a Ph.D. in Urban Architecture in 2022 from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember after obtaining her master's in Urban Architecture in 2001 from the same university. She is currently a lecturer in the Department of Architecture at the University of Sumatera Utara, Medan, Indonesia. Her research interest focuses on the relationship between space and society with attention to the behavioral and cultural aspects of society in the urban area.
