On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, the 15th Product Design Competition (PDC) 2025 was successfully held at the Digital Learning Center Building (DLCB), Universitas Sumatera Utara.
The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si. (Rector of USU), and included welcoming remarks by Prof. Dr. Ir. Fahmi, S.T., M.Sc., IPM (Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, USU). Also present were Ir. Nismah Panjaitan, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng. (Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Engineering, USU) and lecturers from the Industrial Engineering Study Program.

The agenda included the introduction and souvenir presentation to the panel of judges, an exhibition and evaluation of student product designs, and concluded with a group photo session.
