BKSTI participated in the IKMA 2024 collaboration evaluation FGD in Bekasi, focusing on 2025 work plans. This effort supports the growth of small and medium industries.

Bekasi, West Java – The Association of Indonesian Industrial Engineering Higher Education Institutions (BKSTI) sent its representatives to participate in a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on evaluating collaboration implementation and planning work activities for 2025. The FGD was held as a follow-up to a letter from the Secretary of the Directorate General of Small, Medium, and Various Industries (IKMA). This important event took place on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Harris Hotel & Conventions, Bekasi, West Java.

BKSTI delegated two representatives to join the FGD: Prof. Dr. Ir. Elisa Kusrini, M.T., as Head of the BKSTI Collaboration Division for the 2023–2026 period, and Ir. Aulia Ishak, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., as a Member of the BKSTI Collaboration Division for the same period. The assignment was formalized in a letter signed by BKSTI Chairperson Nurhadi Siswanto, S.T., MSIE, Ph.D.

The FGD aimed to evaluate collaboration implementation and inventory work plans for 2025 based on Memorandums of Understanding and/or Cooperation Agreements within the IKMA Directorate General. BKSTI's active participation in the FGD reflects its commitment to supporting the development of small, medium, and various industries in Indonesia through effective and well-planned collaborations.

BKSTI hopes the outcomes of this FGD will serve as a strong foundation for drafting more effective work plans that positively impact the advancement of the IKMA sector. Additionally, this initiative is expected to strengthen synergy between higher education institutions and the industrial sector, providing tangible contributions to the development of small, medium, and various industries in Indonesia.
