In improving the quality and competence of the workforce in the construction sector, the Faculty of Engineering of the Universitas Sumatera Utara in collaboration with the Banda Aceh Region I Construction Services Center organized the Facilitation of Competency Certification Tests for Vocational HR Workers in the Construction Sector. This activity took place at the USU Faculty of Engineering Hall on October 10, 2024 which was attended by nearly 100 participants.
The opening was filled with remarks by the Dean of the USU Faculty of Engineering (Prof. Dr. Ir. Fahmi, S.T., M.Sc., IPM) followed by remarks and opening of activities by the Head of the Banda Aceh Region I Construction Services Center (BJKW I Banda Aceh) - Ministry of PUPR, Indra Suhada, S.T., M.T and his entourage.
This certification program is expected to increase their capacity as a certified workforce that is ready to contribute to national infrastructure development with higher and sustainable quality standards. This certification is also expected to provide a competitive advantage for participants in global competition in the construction sector.
