On Monday, 24 November 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara, held a friendly gathering with the alumni association leaders within the USU Faculty of Engineering.
The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Ir. Fahmi, S.T., M.Sc., IPU. (Dean of the USU Faculty of Engineering), lecturers and educational staff of the USU Faculty of Engineering, as well as representatives of the Alumni Association consisting of:
Alvi Syahriza (Chair of IKA FT USU)
Heriansyah Siregar (Chair of IKA Civil Engineering)
Himsar Ambarita (Vice Chair of IKA Mechanical Engineering)
Tosip Tanjung (Chair of IKA Electrical Engineering)
Harun Al Rasyid (Chair of IKA Industrial Engineering)
Nazri Fahmi (Chair of IKA Architecture)
The activity discussed the formulation of the FT USU 2026–2031 Strategic Plan and the preparations for welcoming the 66th Anniversary of the USU Faculty of Engineering, which is planned to be held on 4–6 December 2025. Present at the gathering were Prof. Hilma Tamiami as Chair of the Drafting Team for the FT USU 2026–2031 Strategic Plan and Ir. Agung Handana as Chair of the Committee for the 66th Anniversary of FT USU in 2025.
