Medan, August 14, 2026 — The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FT USU), conducted a Jumat Berkah social initiative led by Ir. Novrial, M.Eng., IPM., and his team by directly distributing food packages to community members at several locations.
The team handed out meal boxes directly to recipients, including children and roadside vendors. One of the distribution points was Al-Jihad Mosque, located at 28 Jalan Pembangunan.

This activity primarily supports SDG 2: Zero Hunger. The distribution of ready-to-eat meals provided direct food assistance, helping recipients access meals during the activity.
Through the Jumat Berkah initiative, FT USU reaffirmed its commitment to social responsibility and community engagement. The faculty continues to encourage social initiatives that are responsible, well-documented, and relevant to efforts toward sustainable development.
