Medan – On October 15, 2026, the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FT USU), hosted a core organizing committee coordination meeting at the Civil Engineering Smart Classroom, USU. The session aimed to synchronize preparation workflows for the 67th FT USU Anniversary in 2026, bringing together committee divisions to review technical needs within a single integrated forum.

The primary agenda featured brief 5-to-10-minute presentations from each division lead. These progress reports provided a structured mechanism to present operational developments, identify required inter-divisional support, and resolve matters requiring collective decision-making. Additionally, the committee evaluated strategic sponsorship models to support the overall event execution.

This coordination meeting directly supports Sustainable Development Goals SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by strengthening internal governance, transparency, and operational management across institutional activities, as well as SDG 4 (Quality Education) as the preparations reinforce the faculty's broader academic and institutional agenda.
