Medan, May 18, 2026 – The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held its regular morning assembly in the parking area of the Faculty of Engineering. The event was attended by all faculty members and administrative staff within the faculty.
During the assembly, the Undergraduate, Master's, and Doctoral Civil Engineering Study Programs served as the organizing committee. Dr. M. Ridwan Anas, S.T., M.T. acted as the assembly supervisor.
The morning assembly is one of the faculty's regular activities aimed at strengthening discipline, coordination, and solidarity in the workplace. It also serves as a platform for delivering institutional updates, enhancing internal communication, and reinforcing a shared commitment to carrying out institutional duties and responsibilities.
The participation of faculty members and administrative staff highlights the importance of synergy among all members of the faculty. Effective coordination is essential to support the smooth delivery of academic and administrative services, research, community engagement, and various institutional development programs.
This activity supports SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) by strengthening institutional governance, organizational discipline, and internal coordination. It also contributes to SDG 4 (Quality Education) through efforts to maintain the quality of academic services and enhance the professionalism of human resources.
