Medan, July 27, 2026 – The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FT USU), scheduled a meeting on the Preparation of Accreditation Documents for LAM Teknik in the 2nd Floor Meeting Room of FT USU.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Ir. Renita Manurung, M.T., Dean of FT USU, and involved the Vice Dean for Education, Student Affairs, and Alumni Affairs; the Heads and Secretaries of the Undergraduate Chemical Engineering, Undergraduate Industrial Engineering, and Doctoral Civil Engineering Study Programs; as well as the accreditation teams from the three study programs.

The meeting focused on the preparation of LAM Teknik accreditation documents, along with discussions on matters arising during the meeting. Through this forum, faculty representatives, study program management, and accreditation teams were scheduled to coordinate the documentation requirements according to their respective areas of responsibility.

This activity is related to SDG 4 (Quality Education). Coordinated preparation of accreditation documents has the potential to strengthen the quality assurance process within study programs, thereby supporting the delivery of well-directed and sustainable higher education.

Through cross-unit coordination, FT USU continues to promote accountable academic governance and quality assurance as part of the faculty’s commitment to improving the quality of education.
