Medan, August 18, 2026 – The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FT USU), together with the Undergraduate Program in Industrial Engineering, conducted a review of the Study Program Performance Report (LKPS) and Self-Evaluation Report (LED) in the FT USU meeting room.
The review focused on the relevance of aspects related to education, community service, students, and student outcomes. These areas served as the basis for examining the consistency between performance data and the evaluation narratives prepared by the study program.
The activity was attended by Prof. Dr. Ir. Rosdanelli Hasibuan, M.T., Vice Dean for Education, Student Affairs, and Alumni Affairs; Dr. Tuti Sarma Sinaga, S.T., M.T., CPLM, Head of the Undergraduate Program in Industrial Engineering; Dr. Ir. Andri Nasution, S.T., M.T., IPM., ASEAN Eng., Secretary of the Undergraduate Program in Industrial Engineering; and members of the Undergraduate Program in Industrial Engineering Accreditation Team. The involvement of faculty leadership and study program management strengthened the review process from both academic and governance perspectives.
The activity primarily supports SDG 4: Quality Education through the strengthening of study program quality assurance processes. The document-based review is also relevant to SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, as it promotes more orderly, accountable, and evidence-based academic governance.
Through the LKPS and LED review process, FT USU reaffirms its commitment to continuously strengthening its culture of quality and academic governance. The findings from each review stage are expected to serve as a basis for improving the documentation of the Undergraduate Program in Industrial Engineering, ensuring that the information presented is increasingly consistent, relevant, and supportive of the study program’s readiness for the LAMTEK accreditation process.
