The Mechanical Engineering Department of Universitas Sumatera Utara and PII Kota Medan held an offline Halal Bihalal event on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Taman Machine Cyber, Mechanical Engineering Department, Universitas Sumatera Utara. The event was attended by faculty leaders, department heads, PII Kota Medan leaders, lecturers, staff, and students of the Mechanical Engineering Department at USU.

The event began with an opening by the master of ceremonies, Qeisha, a 2020 cohort student of USU Mechanical Engineering. Following this, a welcoming speech was delivered by the Chair of the FT USU Mechanical Engineering Student Association, Jody Ferdinan Pangaribuan. The event continued with remarks from the Head of the USU Mechanical Engineering Department, Dr. Ir. M. Sabri, M.T., IPM, Asean Eng., who also served as the Chair of the Halal Bihalal Committee and the General Chair of PII Kota Medan Branch.
