This competition was organized by the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara, in collaboration with industries. It was part of the series of events for the 8th Lustrum of the Chemical Engineering Department and the 12th Lustrum of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara. Industries served as both resource persons and judges in this competition. The formulation of the types and levels of industrial problems to be contested was jointly discussed between the industry and the Department of Chemical Engineering.
This event challenged participants to provide innovative solutions to real problems faced by the industry. Students were required to enhance their analytical skills, identify problems, and propose solutions to the challenges encountered by the industry.
