The Head of the Chemical Engineering Study Program at Universitas Sumatera Utara, Prof. Ir. Maya Sarah, S.T., M.T., Ph.D, IPM, stated in her opening remarks that the meeting serves as an important forum to gather constructive input on curriculum development, improving graduate quality, and aligning the program with the ever-evolving demands of the professional world.

Valuable input was delivered by Advisory Board members, namely Ir. Rudy Phanjaya, M.Si.; Prof. Dr. Ir. Anni Faridah, M.Si.; Prof. Ir. Edy Herianto Majlan, AMIChemE, IPM; Efendi Manurung, S.T., M.T.; Ir. Ismadi YS, M.M.; Desmon M.N., S.T.; Fajar Basuki, S.T.; Surya Sukma, S.T.; Darwin Saleh, S.T., M.M.; and Aulia Bismar Paduana, S.T. Key areas of feedback focused on the importance of integrating digital technology into the learning process, strengthening students' soft skills, and expanding industrial networks through internship programs, field visits, and collaborative research.

It is hoped that this Advisory Board meeting will serve as a sustainable and synergistic platform to support the vision of Chemical Engineering USU as an excellent academic program oriented toward innovation, sustainability, and cross-sector collaboration.
