The Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) actively welcomed new students through the New Student Campus Life Introduction (PKKMB) program held in 2019. This activity was designed as an adaptation bridge for students, helping them to get acquainted with the academic environment, departmental curriculum, and campus culture. The aim was to equip students with important information and shape a mindset ready to face the challenges of university life.

This PKKMB program not only focused on academic aspects but also on character building and social integration of students. Through various sessions and interactions, students were encouraged to understand university values, build social networks, and foster a sense of togetherness as part of the larger USU community. It is hoped that this activity can serve as a strong foundation for students to succeed in their studies and make positive contributions in the future.
