This public lecture was organized by the USU Faculty of Forestry. Participants in this activity also included students from the USU Civil Engineering Department and Environmental Engineering Department. There were 30 DTS students present. This activity was held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at the USU Faculty of Forestry Hall.
In this activity, several innovations created for monitoring the activities of living beings in the forest or parties conducting illegal activities in the forest were introduced. The topics presented included: 1) Deforestation, 2) Utilization of Technology for Biodiversity Conservation in Indonesia, 3) Utilization of Remote Sensing and GIS Technology for Conservation and Environmental Monitoring, and 4) Greenhouse Gases.
