The Faculty of Engineering Universitas Sumatera Utara welcomed 12th-grade students from SMAS Al-Fityan Medan on Monday, January 29, 2024. The event took place in the Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of the Faculty of Engineering.
This visit aimed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the Faculty of Engineering USU as a reference for continuing their education at the university level. Students also received detailed information about the available study programs and scholarship opportunities. The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ir. Fahmi, S.T., M.Sc., IPM, and the Vice Dean III, Ir. Nismah Panjaitan, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng, warmly welcomed the students.
During the session, the faculty presented information about its history, vision, mission, study program profiles, accreditation, admission pathways, and graduate profiles to provide valuable insights for the students. This visit is expected to give the students useful references and knowledge in selecting higher education pathways that match their interests and potential. The Faculty of Engineering USU also appreciated the enthusiasm shown by the students throughout the event.
