The Faculty of Engineering of the Universitas Sumatera Utara held a “Technical Guidance on Synchronizing Google Scholar and Lecturer Profiles” which took place in the Chemical Engineering Meeting Room on Friday, October 4, 2024. The event was led by the Director of the USU Directorate of Digitalization and System Integration (Ditgrasi), Emerson Pascawira Sinulingga, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D, and attended by a team from Ditgrasi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering USU, Prof. Dr. Ir. Fahmi, ST., M.Sc., IPM, Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Engineering USU, Ir. Nismah Panjaitan, S.T., MT., Ph.D., IPU, as well as lecturers of the USU Faculty of Engineering's Masters and Doctoral Program in Chemical Engineering.
The main objective of this activity is to improve the quality of scientific publications and academic reputation of lecturers through optimizing Google Scholar profiles, as well as strengthening academic visibility, improving lecturer reputation, and international collaboration.
