The mentoring session was attended by the Study Program leadership, the accreditation document preparation team, and faculty members involved in compiling the accreditation documents. Through this activity, participants received guidance and constructive feedback on preparing accreditation documents in accordance with the criteria and instruments established by the Independent Accreditation Agency for Engineering (LAM Teknik). The objective was to ensure that the documents comprehensively reflect the performance, achievements, and ongoing development of the Chemical Engineering Study Program.
In addition to serving as a forum for reviewing and refining the accreditation documents, the activity strengthened coordination among team members in compiling accurate, systematic, and evidence-based data and information. The mentoring session is expected to support the accreditation process effectively while serving as an opportunity to further enhance institutional governance, academic services, research, and community engagement.
This initiative aligns with the commitment of the Chemical Engineering Study Program, Universitas Sumatera Utara, to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through the continuous enhancement of higher education quality, and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) by strengthening transparent, accountable, and quality-oriented study program governance.
Through a spirit of collaboration and continuous improvement, the Chemical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara, remains committed to developing an outstanding, adaptive, and globally competitive study program capable of meeting national and international standards.
