A collaboration meeting between the Environmental Engineering Study Program at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FT USU), and the Environmental Engineering Study Program at the Institut Teknologi Sumatera (ITERA) was held on November 7, 2024, in the Environmental Engineering Program Meeting Room at FT USU.
This meeting marked the initial step toward exploring potential collaborations between the Environmental Engineering programs at USU and ITERA. The session was opened by the Head of the Environmental Engineering Study Program, Zaid Perdana Nst., S.T., M.T., Ph.D., and the Secretary of the Environmental Engineering Study Program, Amir Husin, Dr., S.T., M.T., and was attended by faculty members from the Environmental Engineering Study Program at FT USU.

The meeting aimed to establish collaborations in research, community service, education, joint journal management, organizing international conferences, and conducting collaborative research funded by TALENTA USU through the Inter-University Collaboration Scheme.
It is hoped that this initiative will enhance collaboration among universities, study programs, and faculty members in Environmental Engineering at FT USU and FT ITERA.
