A public lecture by USU's Industrial Engineering Department on "Design Thinking in Industrial Engineering: To Create, To Innovate, or To Solve?" will be held on October 18, 2023, featuring expert speaker Mardi FN Sinaga, MBA. Open to undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students.

The Industrial Engineering Department of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) is hosting a public lecture titled "Design Thinking in Industrial Engineering: To Create, To Innovate, or To Solve?" on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 1:30 PM until the session concludes. The event will take place at the Smart Class, Building J14, 3rd Floor, Industrial Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara.


This lecture will feature Mardi FN Sinaga, MBA, an expert in strategic planning, digital capability development, and HR practitioner, as the keynote speaker. The session will be moderated by Chindy Elsanna Revadi, S.T., M.T., and Ir. Aulia Ishak, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., the Head of the Industrial Engineering Department at USU, will also join the discussion. The event is open to undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students and aims to deepen participants' understanding of Design Thinking applications in Industrial Engineering.
