The Polymer concentration explores and develops environmentally friendly polymer-based materials. Key research areas include the production of starch-based bioplastics with additives, cellulose isolation from biomass, biofoam and polymer composite production, natural rubber latex-based polymer concrete modification, and hydrogel synthesis for industrial and biomedical applications.

This concentration focuses on chemical products derived from natural oils, especially palm oil. Research includes the synthesis of biomass-based heterogeneous catalysts for biodiesel production, palm oil-based surfactant synthesis, enzymatic production of fatty acids, and the development of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) using efficient and sustainable processes.

This field focuses on the advancement of clean and renewable energy technologies. Main topics include biogas production from palm oil mill effluent, biogas kinetics analysis, reactor design for optimal production, and biogas purification processes. It aims to support the transition to clean energy while utilizing industrial waste efficiently.

This concentration offers innovative approaches to industrial waste treatment, including adsorption techniques for liquid waste, heavy metal removal from aqueous solutions, and phytoremediation applications. The goal is to promote environmentally conscious and sustainable waste handling practices.

This field explores extraction and processing techniques to produce value-added products from natural resources. Focus areas include the extraction of essential oils and active compounds from plants, as well as the development of food drying methods that maintain quality and active ingredient stability.
