Dr. Ar. Achmad Delianur Nasution, ST., MT., IAI., AA., IAP., GP was born in Medan on August 28, 1997. After graduating from SMA Negeri 1 Medan, he continued his education by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Universitas Sumatera Utara. He then pursued a Master's degree in Urban Design at Institut Teknologi Bandung and a Doctoral degree in the same field at University Sains Malaysia.
In addition to being actively involved as a teaching staff and researcher at the USU Faculty of Engineering Undergraduate Program in Architecture since 2000, he also practices as a certified professional architect at the national and ASEAN levels, holding the titles of IAI and AA. He is involved in the professional organization Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia (IAI) and previously served as the chairman of IAI Sumatera Utara Region for two terms.
Besides actively practicing as an architect, he is also frequently involved in teams for spatial planning and design and holds a certificate from Ikatan Ahli Perencana (IAP). As an architect, he has extensive experience in designing healthcare facilities and hospitals, a field of architectural design that demands high standardization, hence his possession of the Certificate of Ikatan Konsultan Kesehatan Indonesia (IKKESINDO). His experience in designing healthcare facilities led him to be trusted by the leadership of Universitas Sumatera Utara to become the Director of Facilities and Infrastructure and Supporting Services of Rumah Sakit Sumatera Utara from 2015 to the present.
