A lecturer from the Environmental Engineering Undergraduate Program at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), Dr. Adri Huda, S.Si., is conducting a collaborative research project with several researchers from Vietnam. Dr. Adri is working with two Vietnamese colleagues: Dr. Ha Minh Ngoc from Hanoi University of Science, Vietnam National University (HUS-VNU), and Prof. Dr. Le Minh Thang from Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST).
Dr. Adri’s research focuses on the downstream processing of biochar derived from plastic waste pyrolysis and its potential development for energy and environmental applications. This research is sponsored by the RoHan Catalysis SDG Program, a university research consortium between Vietnam and Germany, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
This three-month research project is expected to bring positive impact to researchers interested in plastic conversion and renewable energy.
