On the third day of Architecture Open Days and Exhibition (ARCODE) 2026, the Undergraduate Program in Architecture of the Faculty of Engineering USU held a series of closing activities that combined academic agendas, appreciation of works, a talk show, and activities involving alumni and graduates.

The activities were attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering USU, Prof. Dr. Ir. Renita Manurung, M.T.; the Head of the Undergraduate Program in Architecture, Dr. Ar. Wahyuni Zahrah, S.T., MS., IAI; as well as Prof. Dr. Ir. Dwira Nirfalini Aulia, M.Sc., and Prof. Ar. Ir. Nurlisa Ginting, M.Sc., Ph.D., IAI.

The series of events included the presentation of the Architecture Studio Award and the announcement of the ARCODE 2026 Competition, presentations of alumni achievements, the launch of a book featuring TGA works, an alumni farewell and welcoming session, and a group photo with graduates. The agenda demonstrated efforts to connect the learning process, appreciation of works, and alumni experiences within the architectural education ecosystem.

The presence of university leadership, academics, alumni, and participants provided space for interaction across generations at the closing of ARCODE 2026.

This activity primarily supports SDG 4 – Quality Education through appreciation of works, dissemination of learning outcomes, and exchange of academic experiences. SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth is also relevant through connections with alumni experiences and the transition to the professional world, while SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities is related to the development of architectural works and insights.

The Faculty of Engineering USU is committed to maintaining ARCODE as a space for learning, appreciation, and network strengthening that supports the development of Architecture students and alumni.
