On Tuesday, January 20, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FT USU), held a socialization meeting regarding the Regulation of the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 52 of 2025 on the Profession, Career, and Income of Lecturers. The event took place at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Engineering, USU.
 

The event was opened by Prof. Dr. Ir. Fahmi, S.T., M.Sc., IPU (Dean of FT USU) and was also attended by the Vice Deans II and III, Heads and Secretaries of Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral Study Programs, Heads and Secretaries of Professional Programs, the Dean’s Expert Staff, the Head of Administration, and Heads of Subdivisions within the Faculty of Engineering, USU.

The socialization meeting aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the substance of the regulation, as well as to discuss its implications and strategic steps for implementation at the faculty level. The Regulation of the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Number 52 of 2025 is a significant policy governing the management of the academic profession, career development, and the remuneration system for lecturers, as part of efforts to enhance the quality of higher education.
 

Through this activity, the Faculty of Engineering, USU, reaffirmed its commitment to supporting government policies while promoting continuous improvement in lecturer professionalism and performance.
