Medan, August 4, 2026 — The Faculty of Engineering USU distributed almamater jackets and attributes to 1,022 new students from 10 (ten) study programs within the Faculty of Engineering USU.
The recipients consisted of 139 students of Mechanical Engineering, 135 students of Electrical Engineering, 154 students of Industrial Engineering, 139 students of Civil Engineering, and 112 students of Chemical Engineering. In addition, the activity included 96 students of Architecture, 78 students of Environmental Engineering, 56 students of Urban and Regional Planning, 56 students of Mining Engineering, and 57 students of Logistics Engineering.
The distribution of attributes was one of the preparation stages for new students before participating in the PKKMB agenda. Almamater jackets and supporting equipment help standardize the participants' identities while supporting the orderly implementation of campus life orientation activities.
This activity primarily supports SDG 4 – Quality Education through the provision of initial support for students entering the higher education process. The implementation, which covered all study programs, demonstrated the faculty's efforts to organize the readiness of PKKMB participants in a coordinated manner based on new student data.
The Faculty of Engineering USU is committed to supporting students from the early stages of campus life through orderly and inclusive student services. This support is expected to serve as a foundation for new students to participate responsibly in learning, student activities, and self-development.
