Medan, July 30th, 2026 - The transition to higher education requires well-organized administrative support to ensure that new students can participate in the campus orientation activities smoothly. The provision of student attributes and almamater jackets is part of the preparations to help students identify with the institution while adapting to the academic environment.
As part of the preparations for the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB), the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FT USU) distributed student attributes and almamater jackets. Thr activity was intended for new students who participate in the 2026 PKKMB of Universitas Sumatera Utara.
The distribution of student attributes and almamater jackets is part of the initial services provided to new students before they participate in the series of campus orientation activities. Through this process, students attributes helps the committee ensure that participants' basic needs have been prepared before the main activities take place.
This activity primarily supports SDGs 4 (Quality Education) through initial servoces that help new students enter the higher education environment in a more structured manner. It is also relevant to SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions through the implementation of orderly and coordinated administrative services. FT USU remains committed to supporting the iplementation of PKKMB in an informative, safe, orderly, and student-oriented manner.
