On September 18, 2026, the Faculty of Engineering USU held a follow-up meeting of the core Dies Natalis coordinators, attended by Zaid Perdana Nasution, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Internationalization; Emma Patricia Bangun, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D., Manager of Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Internationalization; as well as the Dies Natalis activity coordinators, consisting of Ir. Robi Arianta Sembiring, S.T., M.Eng., Coordinator of the Familiarity Night Event; Ar. Masita Hanjayani, S.T., M.Ars., IAI, Coordinator of Public Relations, Publication, Documentation, and Secretariat; Ar. Alifa Azzahra Nasution, S.Ars., M.T., IAI, Treasurer; and Ar. Devin Defriza Harisdani, S.T., M.T., IAI, Coordinator of the Homecoming Event.
The meeting focused on finalizing the Budget Plan (RAB), updating the FT USU Dies Natalis proposal, coordinating the sponsorship strategy, and discussing other matters needed to support the readiness of the activities. Alignment across divisions was carried out so that program needs, budgeting, publication, and partner support could be planned in a more coordinated manner.
This follow-up coordination was part of an effort to maintain the integrated implementation of the Dies Natalis, particularly by ensuring that each coordinator had a shared understanding of the requirements, division of roles, and stages of work that needed to be followed up.
This activity primarily supports SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals through strengthening sponsorship strategies and collaboration with partners, and is also related to SDG 16 – Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions through strengthening coordination, planning, and internal governance. FT USU is committed to preparing the Dies Natalis series in a planned, collaborative, and accountable manner.
