October 1, 2026, the Faculty of Engineering USU held a Dies Natalis Coordination Meeting in the FT USU Meeting Room. The meeting was held as part of the preparations for the Faculty of Engineering USU Dies Natalis series for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Faculty of Engineering USU Alumni Association (IKA FT USU), as well as the core structure and Dies Natalis Coordinator of the Faculty of Engineering USU.

The meeting agenda included coordination of activities with alumni as well as the finalization of activity and sponsorship proposals. These discussions were important for aligning activity plans, strengthening communication between the faculty and alumni, and finalizing various needs required to support the Faculty of Engineering USU Dies Natalis series.
The finalization of proposals and discussion of sponsorship were part of efforts to ensure that program needs could be organized in a more structured manner before implementation. Meanwhile, coordination with alumni was directed toward strengthening networks and participation in supporting the faculty's series of activities.
The involvement of alumni in the preparation process is expected to strengthen collaboration and a sense of togetherness between the Faculty of Engineering USU and its alumni. In addition to serving as a momentum to commemorate the institution's journey, Dies Natalis can also provide a space to strengthen networks, build synergy, and encourage joint contributions to the development of the Faculty of Engineering USU.

This activity primarily supports SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals through strengthening collaboration between the faculty and the alumni network. SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions is also relevant through strengthening coordination and governance in preparing institutional activities.
The Faculty of Engineering USU continues to encourage the implementation of a well-planned Dies Natalis series by involving faculty and alumni elements collaboratively.
