Medan, 3 August 2026. As part of these preparations, the Faculty of Engineering of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FT USU) participated in the Preparation Meeting for the Implementation of PKKMB USU 2026 at the Academic Senate Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, USU Rector's Office.

The meeting involved representatives from relevant directorates, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rosdanelli Hasibuan, M.T., (Vice Dean for Education, Student Affairs, and Alumni Affairs of FT USU), and Fitri Rowiyah Rambe, M.T., (Chair of PKKMB from FT USU), representatives from various faculties, the Chair and Vice Chair of the USU Student Executive Board (BEM USU), as well as the PKKMB USU 2026 committee. The involvement of these various parties demonstrates the importance of institutional coordination in preparing new student admission activities at the university and faculty levels.

The meeting featured a presentation on the PKKMB regulations. The discussion was part of an effort to establish a common understanding of the implementation provisions and the responsibilities of each party in supporting PKKMB USU 2026.

This activity primarily supports SDG 4 - Quality Education through the preparation of an orientation program aimed at helping new students become familiar with the campus environment and campus life governance. The meeting is also relevant to SDG 16 - Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions through strengthened coordination, clear procedures, and effective activity governance.
