September 28, 2026, the Faculty of Engineering USU, conducted a field review of the Undergraduate Program in Chemical Engineering. The activity was carried out to directly assess the condition of the facilities and surrounding environment and identify facilities considered inadequate.
The review was attended by the Vice Dean for Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Academic Infrastructure, Ir. Muhammad Agung Putra Handana, S.T., M.T.; Manager of Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Academic Infrastructure, Fitri Rowiyah Rambe, M.T.; Head of the Administrative Office, Akmalunnisa, S.T.; as well as education personnel from the equipment section of FT USU.

Through the field review, the team obtained a direct overview of the condition of the rooms, facilities, and environment used to support the activities of the Undergraduate Program in Chemical Engineering. The direct observation was part of the process of identifying infrastructure needs before further discussion at the faculty level.
The activity was aimed at strengthening the basis for more targeted facility management planning. The identification results are expected to serve as considerations in determining maintenance, repair, and facility development needs according to priorities and applicable mechanisms.

This activity primarily supports SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure through efforts to strengthen the quality of academic infrastructure. SDG 4 – Quality Education is also relevant because the availability of adequate facilities supports the learning process and academic activities.
