Congratulations and best wishes to the Horas USU Team on its achievements at the 2026 Energy-Efficient Car Contest (KMHE), held from October 1–4, 2026, at Universitas Jember, East Java.

The Horas USU Team won Second Place in the Prototype MPD Diesel Category and Third Place in the Urban Concept MPD Diesel Category. These achievements demonstrate the students' competencies, innovation, and consistency in developing efficient and sustainable energy-efficient vehicle technologies.

The Faculty of Engineering USU extends its appreciation to all members of the Horas USU Team, the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, supervising lecturer Dr. Ir. M. Sabri, M.T., and all parties who provided support throughout the preparation and implementation of the competition.

May this achievement inspire the team to continue creating, innovating, and bringing honor to Universitas Sumatera Utara in national and international competitions.

This activity primarily supports SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure through the development and testing of energy-efficient vehicle innovations. SDG 4 – Quality Education is also relevant through project-based learning experiences and participation in competitions.
