The meeting discussed various important aspects of the learning process, including the allocation of courses and lecturers, alignment of Semester Learning Plans (RPS), readiness of lecture schedules, implementation of practical sessions, and evaluation of learning facilities and infrastructure. The meeting also included coordination on the implementation of an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum to ensure that the learning process is effective and oriented toward graduate learning outcomes.

Through this forum, all lecturers aligned their understanding and strengthened their commitment to providing high-quality, innovative, and student-centered education. Thorough preparation is expected to support the smooth implementation of lectures from the beginning of the semester while improving the quality of education in the Chemical Engineering Study Program at USU.

This activity also reflects the commitment of the Chemical Engineering Study Program at USU to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, through strengthening an inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable learning process, as well as SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, through collaborative, transparent, and accountable academic governance in support of excellent higher education.

Through effective coordination and synergy among the academic community, the Chemical Engineering Study Program at USU is confident that the Semester A 2026/2027 Academic Year learning process can be implemented optimally and produce competent, competitive graduates who are prepared to face global challenges.
