Chemical Engineering students have continued to make their university proud amid the pandemic. This was evident during the 2020 USU GAMES, where Chemical Engineering students won awards in several competition categories. One standout achievement was by Ilham Prayogo, a 2018 Chemical Engineering student, who secured First Place in the National Scientific Writing Competition. Additionally, Chemical Engineering students earned Second Place, another Second Place, and an Honorable Mention in the same category.
During the online event, it was also announced that Chemical Engineering students achieved First Place in the Scientific Poster category, won by Basauli Siregar (Chemical Engineering 2018), and Third Place in the Business Plan Competition by Muhammad Gading Akbar and Rivka Dinda Annisa S. (Chemical Engineering 2018). Furthermore, Chemical Engineering students excelled in other categories, such as Honorable Mention for the English Debate Competition and Honorable Mention for the Solo Pop Singing Competition.
These remarkable achievements showcase the passion and dedication of Universitas Sumatera Utara's Chemical Engineering students, even in the challenging circumstances of the pandemic.
